Life as a year-old can be hectic, especially if you are one of the most popular Thai actresses in China, juggling constant fan meetings, filming schedules, recording sessions, university lectures and an internship. That was the year she earned her breakthrough role as Kim, a tom — or butch lesbian — in the Thai girl-on-girl romance Yes Or No.

The second instalment in the franchise was released in August The two Thai films made their mark on the industry with their themes of sexual diversity and also garnered fans outside the Kingdom, especially in China and Southeast Asian countries. The actress is currently in negotiations to star in the anticipated Yes Or No 2.

It will not serve as a sequel, but rather a spin-off of the original film. She does, however, have words to offer regarding LGBT society. The film, which will be released in Thailand in July, features a Thai and Japanese cast which includes Makoto Koshinaka, a Japanese rock singer. After continuous work in more or less the same role, however, Tina said she is looking forward to trying something new.

Aside from her acting career, Tina is a communication arts student at Rangsit University, majoring in radio and television. She is going onto her fourth year and has an internship at radio station Cool FM. But even with her fame and large fan base, she does not consider herself an international star just yet.
